The Magic of Christmas!

A fast moving Show that starts with a ridiculously easy magical levitation routine and is crammed with lots of fun for the audience and easy-to-do routines for the cast.
First Half
Pre – Start Sequence
A sequined dressed cast member reveals a message for the audience on a flipchart.
Start sequence
The overture to Phantom of the Opera starts and the Phantom appears with an assistant. Another quickly appears and lies on a table. A cloth covers the second assistant who is then magically levitated and then to the amazement of the audience disappears and is replaced by yet another cast member.
Presenter’s Welcome
The Presenter welcomes the audience.
Dance Routine
A dance routine is performed by the youngsters from a local dance or theatre group.
Move in a little closer
A male singer starts to sing ‘Move in a little closer’ but cast members come on stage and jig around him. Unseen by the audience, his clothes are removed and as the cast members rush off stage they reveal the solo singer in a pair of striped boxer shorts.
The Shoe Sketch
A large chicken chases a fed up cast member who is eventually frightened away by the insole of an audience member’s shoe.
Teddies
A group of male adults called The Christmas Teddy Boys do a silly routine with zimmer frames.
The Jaws sketch
A swimmer is chased off stage by two large inflatable sharks that get thrown in to the audience.
Solo Singer
A solo singer performs.
Road to Amarillo
The Presenter takes the audience through ‘Is this the way to Amarillo’ as they sing both with and without the music.
The Auditions/Les Mis Sketch
The cast show, in a highly amusing way, what an audition is like and finish with a crazy excerpt from Les Miserables.
Elephants
The younger members of the audience march round the hall as elephants to The Jungle Book’s Elephants March song and go for a spray mist bath.
Second half
Bang, bang, clap
The audience are encouraged to stomp and clap to music.
Dance routine
Youngsters from a local dance or theatre school perform.
Parrots sketch
Puppet Parrots mime to Barry Manilow’s ‘One Voice’ to hilarious effect.
The Story of Peter Pan
Some members of the audience run through an incredible 3 minute sketch of the whole story of Peter Pan.
Okey Cokey
The Presenter and Dance youngsters perform the Okey Cokey.
Aluminium sketch
10 metre silver slinky tunes are handed through the audience.
12 Days of Christmas
The audience are divided into 12 groups and they sing one part each of the 12 Days of Christmas with a good deal of noise and fun.
Second Parrot sketch
A quick puppet mime to fast music.
Finale
All the cast come out for their bows and the Hall is filled with confetti, balloons, silver tubing, red cloth, rubber rings and two sharks as the cast and some of the audience dance round the Hall to ‘The Conga’ - a great finish to a really fun Show.
