First Pull of the Cracker
Start routine
The start of the Show sets the mood for the rest of the performance. The marketing will have given the audience an idea that something different and exciting is about to happen. The start routine reflects this element with music, lights and action
Welcome by Presenter
This section introduces the Presenter and it's his/her job to warm up the audience
Festive Singers
A group of up to ten 8-10 years olds from a local school with a dance/singing routine
Santa’s Dilemma
This is a funny Christmas poem read by one of the cast
Christmas Cracker Catching!!
A really fun part of the Show when 6 Christmas crackers are thrown in to audience. Whoever catches them are then asked to come on stage and play ‘Jingle Bells’ on kazoos
The Twelve Days of Christmas - A Correspondence
This act consists of a reader reciting an hilarious series of letters from a girl to her boyfriend thanking him for 12 Christmas gifts, but things get gradually more fraught!
A Little Christmas Cracker
A chance for a solo singer to star here as she sings a Christmas song
Christmas Parcels
This is ‘Pass the Parcel’ done in a way that you will never have seen before with 6 parcels all going round the audience at the same time
Festive Singers
The children singers are back with children from the audience singing “Away in a Manger”
Nativity Play Poem
An adult in angel costume pretending to be a child acts out a funny poem about her Nativity play at school
Interval
Second Pull of the Cracker
The Christmas Teddies
4 Adult males do a silly dance routine dressed as Teddy Boys
Poem “The Night before Christmas
Hilarious Christmas Poem about Father Chrstmas
Here we go A’Caroling
The audience joins the children with Jingle Bells
Raffle prize giving
Raffle prizes are given out
The Cratchit’s Christmas
A short reading from Dickens’ Christmas Carol with plenty of atmosphere
The Twelve Days of Christmas
The audience is divided into 12 groups and they sing one part each of the 12 Days of Christmas with an hilarious and loud ending
Poem with Miss/Mrs Christmas
Very short poem with a mix up between two characters…….Miss Christmas and Mrs Christmas
Finale - Last Crack of the Cracker
After the last song ‘White Christmas’ as the cast leave the stage the music changes tempo to play something fast and bouncy. Very large balloons are thrown into the audience and the whole audience become kids again as they bounce these around. Confetti blasters then shower the audience with confetti as they play with the balloons.
